This Sunday Pastor Michael Simone closes the summer series by focusing on the power of thinking. Using Max Lucado's "Tame Your Thoughts" and 2 Corinthians 10, he reviews three practical tools: be picky about what you think, identify 'UFOs' (untruths that form false narratives), and uproot those lies to replant divine truth.
Through stories, scripture, and real-life examples — including leadership takeaways and a memorable home-plate analogy — Michael shows how transforming your thinking leads to freedom, faithfulness, and a life shaped by Christ.
You are invited to daily practices of prayer, scripture, and thought-capturing to live as salt and light and make every thought obey Christ.

This Sunday Rob Huffman, pastor and Chick-fil-A executive, teaches from Mark chapter 6 about the shift from astonishment to offense, defining honor and dishonor and showing how familiarity can erode our awe of Jesus. He uses scripture and practical examples to explain why it’s hard to receive the supernatural from what we treat as common.
Rob also shares personal stories — ministry burnout during COVID and a bedside moment with a dying young woman — to illustrate losing and regaining perspective. He issues a clear challenge: guard your wonder, honor people for who they are, and keep faith alive in relationships and the church.

This Sunday we delve into the intersection of science and faith, exploring the profound evidence that suggests the existence of a Creator.
Contrary to some scientific arguments that distance themselves from the notion of God, we hear a compelling narrative of transformation from atheism to belief, inspired by both scriptural affirmations and empirical observations of the universe.
Our discussion is enriched by the thought-provoking claims made by Lee Strobel in his book, God's Outrageous Claims. We examine how science can complement faith, addressing the harmony between spiritual convictions and scientific discoveries. The conversation also touches upon the intricate design of the universe, the language of DNA, and the philosophical musings of figures like Carl Sagan and Blaise Pascal.
Moreover, we reflect on personal stories and experiences that challenge us to live a life of significance, embracing doubt as a catalyst for strengthening faith. We are encouraged to consider the eternal impact of our actions and the unique role we play in reflecting God's presence in our world. Join us as we explore and celebrate the intricate tapestry of belief, evidence, and the earnest pursuit of truth.

Join us this Sunday as Rev. Dr. Reginald Davis, from the Historic First Baptist Church of Williamsburg, delivers a powerful sermon addressing the urgent need for unity within the Christian community and beyond. As his church prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary alongside the United States, Rev. Dr. Davis reflects on the transformative power of being united in Christ. Through referencing the prayer of Jesus in John 17, he underscores how disunity acts as a hindrance to spiritual progress and societal harmony.
Joined by his supportive congregation and family, Rev. Dr. Davis calls on believers to overcome divisions of race, class, and denomination, emphasizing that true discipleship requires being one in spirit and purpose. Drawing parallels between historical lessons, such as the downfall of great civilizations due to internal conflict, and the contemporary challenges of the modern church, he reminds listeners that unity is essential for the vitality and witness of the faith.
He further illustrates this message with anecdotes, including the unity between inventors Louis Latimer and Thomas Edison that brought light to the world, exemplifying the wonders achievable through collective effort. Concluding with a heartfelt prayer for unity, Rev. Dr. Davis charges the Mosaic Church community to be the light in dark times, overcoming discord to fulfill God's vision on earth.

Sunday Jul 13, 2025
In another Sunday of our Summer Fastballs series, we explore the profound impact of words and language with an emphasis on their power to change the world. We delve into the life of Amos, a humble shepherd and fig tree farmer, called by God to prophesy in Israel and champion social justice, challenging the status quo of his time.
Amos teaches us that divine purpose does not require extraordinary beginnings, but rather a willingness to embrace the roles we are given. We examine how the tensions of life, whether they be personal crises or societal challenges, can lead to meaningful transformation through intentional living.
Join us as we reflect on the teachings of Amos regarding authentic faith and consider the larger question: What will your contribution to the powerful play of life be? Let these lessons guide you in living with significance, transcending mere success, and making an impact rooted in righteousness and commitment to a higher calling.
